Bins are only collected every two weeks at Port Elliot. It is important rubbish is sorted between Green, Recycling and General waste.

Greens – food scraps and other organic material (Green bin)

Recycling – Paper, cardboard, glass, recyclable plastic (Yellow bin lid)

General – other material not suitable for greens or recycling (Blue bin lid)

Several other rental properties require guests take their rubbish with them when they leave. We would like to avoid going down that avenue as it is inconvenient to pack rubbish in the car at the end of your stay.

To ensure adequate bin space for all guests, please do not use more than a quarter of the bin space for each 3 day stay. Contact the owner if you wish to use more than your allocated space or inadequate bin space has been left for your stay.

Using more than your allocation of bin space may incur a dumping fee.
